Early Life and Career

Alex Salvador Perez was born on March 21, 1992, of Mexican descent in Hanford, California, United States. Perez has eight siblings, and he started wrestling in 6th grade with two of his brothers.

Alex Perez made his professional debut on May 6, 2011, and won the fight via technical knockout in the first round.

On February 5, 2015, Perez won the TPF flyweight championship via a unanimous win over Anthony Figueroa.

Alex Perez earned his UFC contract by submitting Kevin Gray for Dana White’s Contender Series on August 8, 2017.
