Jessica Pegula is an American professional tennis player born on February 24, 1994, in Buffalo, New York. Her parents Terry and Kim Pegula are billionaires who own the Buffalo Bills of the NFL and the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL. Pegula is partly of Korean descent, with her mother being from Seoul. She has four siblings, two of whom are from her dad’s first marriage. She is ranked No. 7 in singles and No. 48 in doubles by the WTA as of late 2024.

A proven match-winner on the women’s tour, Jessica Pegula has won 13 WTA titles to date, including singles and doubles. She won her first singles title in 2019, the Citi Open.
