Patrick Reed’s Early Life and Background

American Professional golfer Patrick Nathaniel Reed, better known as Patrick Reed, was born on August 5, 1990, in San Antonio, Texas. Patrick was raised by his parents, Bill Reed and Jeannette Reed. He experienced his childhood with his younger sister Hannah Reed in San Antonio, Texas.

While attending University High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Patrick was an excellent golfer who proved his skills by winning the Junior Open Championship in 2006. Patrick led University High School to state championships in 2006 and 2007 and also won the state medalist honors in 2007. He earned Rolex AJGA All-America honors thrice in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

After completing school, Patrick started his college life in 2008 at the University of Georgia in Athens.
