Josh Terry, better known by his moniker Riley Osborne, is a British professional grappler currently affiliated with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), on its NXT brand as a member of the faction “Chase University” alongside Andre Chase (leader), Duke Hudson, Thea Hail, Riley Osborne and Ridge Holland. Osborne is known for his high-flying wrestling technique and his current finishing move, the “Shooting Star Press,” is regarded as one of the most flawless aerial maneuvers in the wrestling world.

He received his initial training at the professional wrestling academy owned by British wrestler Johnny Moss in England in 2014. Independent Circuits

On June 10, 2016, Riley Osborne debuted in Target Wrestling under his original name, Josh Terry, and defeated his opponent Damon Havoc. After facing multiple opponents, Terry clinched the High Octane Division Title by overcoming Damon Havok, DCT and Michael Chase in a fatal four-way match. However, he lost the title to Martin Kirby on September 2, 2017, but reclaimed it on March 10, 2018, in a rematch against Martin Kirby.

During that time, he also worked as a freelancer for several independent promotions, such as Knockout Wrestling, Discover Wrestling, Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), Premier British Wrestling (PBW), Border City Wrestling (BCW), and Explosive Pro Wrestling (EPW). WWE (2018-Present)

205 Live and NXT UK (2018–2023)

Riley Osborne, under the name Josh Morrell, began his WWE journey in a losing effort against Lio Rush on the November 7, 2018, episode of 205 Live. He made another appearance on 22 June, 2022 at NXT UK where he emerged victorious over Primate. Shortly thereafter, he suffered successive defeats in three matches against Dave Mastiff, Wild Boar, and Mark Andrews.

On September 2, 2023, Josh Morrel was renamed Riley Osborne and debuted at NXT Level Up, where he secured a victory over Javier Bernal, marking his first official match with WWE. Later, on November 30, Osborne made his debut on the main roster but unfortunately lost to Apollo Crews on the Main Event show.

NXT (2023–present)

In December 2023, Osborne joined the NXT Men's Breakout Tournament as a Chase University student, defeating Keanu Carver and Lexis King before losing to Oba Femi in the finals on 2 January 2024. Eventually, in January, Osborne and Duke Hudson entered the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic but lost to Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro in the first round. At that time, Osborne began a romantic relationship with Thea Hail, which ended as friends after a failed Valentine's Day date. On 19 March, Osborne challenged Drew Gulak for the NXT Heritage Cup but lost due to interference from Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx, who turned against Chase U.

In early May 2024, Riley Osborne became entangled with Chase U and Ridge Holland. On the 14 May NXT episode, Osborne was reluctantly paired with Holland in a tag team match against The Good Brothers, which ended in a loss due to Holland's mistake. Following this, Osborne argued with Holland over the loss and faced him in a match on the 21 May episode, where he was defeated. Despite the loss, Osborne remained disapproving of Chase U's association with Holland, with Hudson supporting his stance. On the 4 June episode, Osborne and Hudson refused to support Holland during Hail's match against Jazmyn Nyx. They later interfered at ringside, contributing to Nyx's victory over Hail.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA – 2024)

In 2024, as part of a broader talent exchange between WWE and TNA, Riley Osborne, representing NXT, made a significant impact on his TNA debut on the August 15 episode of Impact!, where he triumphed over Chris Bey and John Skyler in a three-way match, securing a spot in the Ultimate X match at Emergence.
