Sol Ruca (birth name: Calyx Harmony Hampton) is an American female professional grappler and is signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), as of 2024. She is a performer on the NXT brand, as of October 2024.
Sol Ruca’s Early Life
Sol Ruca graduated in 2017 from Western Christian Secondary School in Upland, California. She completed higher studies and has a degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon, USA. She started competing in gymnastics while studying at the University of Oregon.

Sol Ruca’s Professional Wrestling Career
Sol Ruca was part of a new batch of recruited wrestlers endorsed to the WWE Performance Center in March 2022. She had no past involvement in proficient wrestling, rather coming from gymnastics and tumbling background. Ruca made her in-ring debut at a house show on June 24 in Jacksonville. A couple of months after the fact she made her television debut on the September 27, 2022, episode of NXT 2.0. In that event, she went head to head against Amari Miller, which finished in a triumph for Ruca.
On December 10, 2022, Ruca acquired viral distinction for her creative finisher, a Springboard Backflip Cutter, utilized in one more match against Amari Miller on WWE NXT Level Up. Ruca later credited her involvement with acrobatic gymnastics as the wellspring of her motivation for the move. In April it was accounted that she burst her leg tendon, which required a medical procedure and a long-term absence.
Ruca returned to the WWE during the event of NXT Roadblock in 2024 and immediately attacked her old rival Blair Davenport and eventually beat her later in a singles match. A match was then scheduled between Ruca and Davenport and Ruca won the match. She was a participant in the NXT Women's North American Title's six-woman ladder match. She beat Arianna Grace and earned a title shot against Kelani Jordan, which Ruca lost. She was beaten by Jaida Parker in a six-woman gauntlet match, which was the opportunity for the NXT Women's Title. Her match against TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace was declared a no-contest.
