The Creed Brothers Early Life
The Creed Brothers were born as Drew Kasper and Jacob Kasper. Both the brothers were born in Lexington, Ohio. Julius Creed was born on October 3, 1994, while Brutus Creed was born on May 13, 1996. They both attended Lexington High School and competed in amateur wrestling. Julius Creed then attended Duke University in North Carolina and graduated in Sociology in 2018. During his time there, Creed partook in collegiate wrestling. He was a two-time NCAA All-American and a three-time NCAA Academic All-American champion.
Brutus Creed boasts a decorated wrestling career. At Otterbein University, he majored in exercise science and excelled on the mat, amassing an impressive 108-13 record. He became a two-time NCAA Division III All-American and even finished his senior year undefeated (30-0), ranking #1 in the US. Sadly, the 2020 NCAA championships were canceled due to the pandemic, preventing him from competing.
The Creed Brothers WWE Career
Jacob Kasper, after impressing at the 2018 NCAA championships, caught the eye of WWE legend Gerald Brisco. He signed with the company in October 2020. Inspired by his brother's success, Drew Kasper followed suit, signing a three-year deal in February 2021.
Both trained intensely at the WWE Performance Center. In June 2021, they adopted new personas: Brutus and Julius Creed. Their NXT debut arrived in August, alongside the Diamond Mine stable. They wasted no time making their mark, decisively defeating their opponents in their first televised match.
Their dominance in the tag team division was evident as they ran riot on the whole roster. In February 2022, they defeated MSK to win the Dusty Rhodes Men Tag Team Classic. They became the number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship. At NXT: In Your House in June 2022, they defeated Pretty Deadly to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.
Their first title reign lasted three months before they dropped the belt to Pretty Deadly at Worlds Collide 2022 in September. This was the result of Damon Kemp, a fellow Diamond Mine member, turning on the tag team. In July 2023, they faced Dyad in a “Loser leaves NXT” match and were defeated by the duo. After a month of inactivity, they were brought back to the roster after winning a cage match against Dyad.
In October 2023, The Creed Brothers made their main roster debut alongside Ivy Nile. The three superstars defeated Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis, and Maxxine Dupri) in their first night on Monday Night RAW. They last competed in NXT at Halloween Havoc where they defeated Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo in a Tables, Ladder, and Scares match.
The brothers and Ivy Nile were officially drafted to RAW in November. They soon became the number-one contender for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Judgment Day. On the December 18 episode of RAW, they failed to beat The Judgment Day for the title.
