Madison Keys is an American professional tennis player, who achieved her career-high singles ranking of No. 7 in October 2016. In her career so far, she has won eight WTA singles titles, including her biggest title at the 2019 Cincinnati Open. She has not won a grand slam title in her career so far, but her performance in grand slam events is brilliant. She made the US Open final in 2017, but lost against Sloane Stephens in straight sets.


Keys is a right-handed player who is known for her powerful groundstrokes, especially from the forehand wing. She is an aggressive baseliner, who likes to finish points by hitting forehand and backhand winners from the baseline. She reached the semifinals of the 2024 Eastbourne International, where she lost to Leylah Fernandez. She won her eighth WTA singles title at the 2024 Internationaux De Strasbourg, registering a win against compatriot Danielle Collins.
