Bolelli reached the semifinals of the 2024 Italian Open and the quarterfinals of the 2024 Madrid Open with Vavassori. He achieved his career-high ranking of World No. 8 on August 17, 2015. He emerged victorious at the 2024 China Open with Vavassori, defeating the duo of Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara.

Bolelli finished runner-up at the 2024 Australian Open and the 2024 French Open with Vavassori. They lost to top seeds Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden in the final of the 2024 Australian Open.
