Adam Fox is an American professional ice hockey player and alternate captain for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League (NHL).
He was drafted 66th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 3rd round of the 2016 NHL entry draft. Fox made his NHL debut during the 2019-2020 season, where he recorded 42 points with 8 goals, and 34 assists in 70 games. This made him only the fifth rookie defenseman in the franchise’s history to have earned 40 points in a season, joining the likes of Brain Leetch, Ron Greschner, Mike McEwen, and Reijo Ruotsalainen.

Adam Fox’s Early Life
Adam Fox acquired his education at Jericho High School and later enrolled at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he also played hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. Fox spent three years at Harvard University, where he pursued a major in psychology. Upon joining the Harvard Crimson men’s ice hockey team for the 2016-17 season, he made an immediate impact.
Adam Fox developed his skills while actively participating in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League as a player for the Long Island Gulls. During his freshman season, Fox played a pivotal role in Harvard’s triumph in the Beanpot, marking the first win since 1993.
