Edge is a professional wrestler who has amassed more than 30 titles, including 11 world titles, 5 intercontinental titles, 14 tag team titles, and a United States title. Adam Joseph Copeland, better known by his ring name “Edge,” is a professional wrestler who was born on October 30, 1973, in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada.

Edge first realized wrestling was his vocation while watching his idols Curt Henning, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and Bret "Hit Man" Hart as a teenager. Ron Hutchinson and Sweet Daddy Siki, two former experts in the field, served as his initial instructors.

He began his professional wrestling career in the 1990s, primarily in North American independent promotions. These included competing in singles and tag team events, the latter of which Edge's fictional brother Christian was a part of. He signed a development agreement with the WWF in 1997, and later that year he began fighting for the organization. He made his television debut the following June, using the ring name Edge.

He won the WWF Intercontinental Championship at a house show in Toronto two years later (1999), marking his first title reign with the WWF. Edge and Christian eventually won seven times as the WWF Tag Team Champions.

Additionally, Edge emerged victorious at the 2001 King of the Ring tournament, the inaugural Mr. Money in the Bank tournament in 2005, and the Mr. Money in the Bank tournament in 2007 as well. As a result, Copeland joined Kurt Angle and Big Show as the only three wrestlers to have held each of the WWE's active male championships. In March 2012, Edge was admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
