Swerve Strickland (birth name: Stephon Strickland), the leader of the villainous stable Mogul Embassy in the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is a rapper and professional wrestler from the United States. The one-time AEW World Tag Team Titleholder started his career in 2008 under the in-ring name Shane Strickland and worked for various free circuits till 2019. In those 11 years, Strickland worked for Major League Wrestling (MLW), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), and Evolve. While working in those promotions, Strickland won some major titles such as the CZW World Heavyweight Title (1 time), CZW Wired TV Title (2 times), Evolve Title (1 time), MLW World Heavyweight Title (1 time), wXw World Tag Team Title (1 time), etc.

Strickland worked as a masked wrestler in Lucha Underground for four years (2014-2018) under the in-ring name Killshot and won the Lucha Underground Trios Title (2 times). He also worked for the WWE for two years (2019-2021) as Isaiah "Swerve" Scott and won the NXT North American Title (1 time) as part of the stable 'Hit Row'. He was released from the promotion after making his main roster debut at SmackDown. Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) placed Strickland at the 82nd spot among the top 500 wrestlers in 2022 and Sports Illustrated ranked him at the 8th spot among the top 10 wrestlers in 2023.
