Latest 2024-25 Toronto Raptors Depth Chart

The 2019 NBA champion Toronto Raptors are gearing up for a promising 2024-25 NBA season with an impressive depth chart. As a potential play-in team in the Eastern Conference, the Raptors are led by 2024 All-Star Scottie Barnes, and youngsters RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, acquired last season in a trade. These youngsters inject new energy and hope for Raptors fans.

The Raptors' depth chart is anchored by versatile RJ Barrett, nicknamed the "Maple Mamba", who can play as a shooting guard or small forward. He will support the young leader of the team, Scottie Barnes, who is known for his powerful dunks and strong finishing at the rim. Barnes’ defensive improvement will be key for the team as he plays either a small forward or power forward role while handling the ball. Bringing vast experience is starting center Jakob Poeltl who will be the vocal leader of the team. Rounding up the starting five is versatile point guard Immanuel Quickley and Gradey Dick. Quickley is renowned for being a slasher, hitting his trademark floater shots, while Dick is a great shooter, known for hitting tough threes from downtown.

The Raptors' bench is led by Bruce Brown, who replaces Immanuel Quickley and adds valuable minutes. Canadian Kelly Olynyk is now entering his 12th NBA season, and Raptors fans are excited to see him bring experience off the bench. Backing him up in the frontcourt is Chris Boucher, who is aiming to recover from his injuries and make a strong impact. There’s also small forward Ochai Agbaji and newly acquired Davion Mitchell. Both of them will be mostly used as off-the-bench impact players, as they are great perimeter defenders. Mitchell is a good ball-handler and can shoot threes as well. Finally, rookies Ja'Kobe Walter, Ulrich Chomche, and Jamal Shead will look to get valuable experience and contribute to the Raptors.

Under the guidance of head coach Darko Rajaković, the Raptors' depth chart may not lead them to the playoffs, but they have the potential to be spoilers for many teams in the Eastern Conference. With a mix of veterans and promising young talent, the Raptors aim to surprise their opponents in the 2024-25 NBA season and fight for a play-in spot.
