Latest 2024-25 Portland Trail Blazers Depth Chart
The Portland Trail Blazers depth chart for the 2024-25 is led by several youngsters. Leading the way at point guard is Anfernee Simons, who returns from an injury-riddled last season. Simons' ability to score and create offense is pivotal for the Trail Blazers. Backing him up on the Trail Blazers depth chart are Scoot Henderson, an explosive rookie with playmaking ability, and veteran guard Devonte Graham, who will handle ball-handling duties off the bench.
At shooting guard, the starting role belongs to Shaedon Sharpe, one of the most electrifying young players on the Trail Blazers roster. Sharpe's athleticism and attacking mindset make him a key component of the Blazers depth chart. Backing up Sharpe are Dalano Banton, Ryan Rupert, and Bryce McGowens, all of them will look to make an impact in their limited opportunities and offer additional scoring from the perimeter. The small forward position is anchored by newly acquired Deni Avdija, who brings elite perimeter defense, unique offense, and playmaking to the Trail Blazers lineup. Avdija’s ability to contribute on both ends of the floor makes him an exciting fit. Backing him up in Trail Blazers depth chart are defensive ace Matisse Thybulle, promising youngster Kris Murray, and energetic forward Toumani Camara, all of whom add depth and flexibility to the small forward spot.
At power forward, experienced Jerami Grant is the clear starter, leading the Trail Blazers with his all-around scoring and defensive versatility. Grant is a cornerstone of the Portland offense. Behind him, Duop Reath and Jabari Walker provide valuable minutes, with Reath offering defensive intensity and rebounding, while Walker contributes as a developing young forward. The starting center role is held by DeAndre Ayton, who is known for his elite post-scoring arsenal. Backing him up is rookie center Donovan Clingan, who has shown promise as a future franchise big man. Clingan can also slide over to power forward when needed, offering additional flexibility. Also supporting the frontcourt is Robert Williams III, who provides elite shot-blocking and defensive hustle as a key backup big man.
