2024-25 Portland Trail Blazers Roster & Players | NBA
The Portland Trailblazers roster for the 2023-24 campaign boasts a talented young core of fearless players ready to make their mark in the NBA. The return of guard Anfernee Simons from last season’s injury setbacks has reignited hope among fans, as coach Chauncey Billups can now deploy the duo of Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant into the Trail Blazers lineup. At the heart of the Trail Blazers roster2024 lies Jerami Grant, a versatile forward who leads the squad with his scoring prowess and ability to knock down shots from downtown. Bolstering the Portland Trail Blazers lineup is the presence of rim-protecting center DeAndre Ayton, whose exceptional footwork and post-up skills are crucial for the team's success. The new addition to the Portland Trailblazers lineup is Deni Avdija, who arrived from Washington Wizards in the 2024 off-season. Avdija is poised to be the starting small forward in the Trail Blazers lineup. Leading the backcourt alongside Simons are two promising youngsters Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe. It remains to be seen how Trail Blazers lineups utilize both of them. Henderson's vision and passing make him a valuable playmaker. Amongst all Portland Trail Blazers players, Shaedon Sharpe remains the most exciting. Sharpe is an explosive shooting guard who attacks the basket regularly.
Beyond the starters, the Portland Trail Blazers roster features a deep and talented bench unit that further enhances the team's quality. Forwards Duop Reath, Toumani Camara, and Matisse Thybulle bring defensive intensity, with Thybulle leading the team in blocks per game. Meanwhile, Ryan Rupert and Dalano Banton provide sharp shooting from the arc, and Kris Murray adds depth on both ends adding tenacity to the Trail Blazers. Experienced point guard Devonte Graham will be handling the ball off the bench as Simons gets to rest. Behind Ayton, rookie center Donovon Clingan is promising as he develops into a franchise center. There’s also Robert Williams III and Jabari Walker, who hopes to get minutes in the frontcourt of the Blazers lineup.
