2024-25 Houston Rockets Roster & Players | NBA
The Houston Rockets roster 2024 remains largely intact, with all key players returning from last season. This year’s Rockets roster is for continued development and improvement, under coach Ime Udoka. Leading this once again is Fred VanVleet, who serves as the cornerstone of the Houston Rockets lineup. His experience and playmaking ability are essential for guiding this young team. Supporting him in the Rockets roster is Dillon Brooks, a vocal leader known for his energy and hustle, who plays a critical role in both the locker room and on the court. This season, last year's draftees, Cam Whitmore and Amen Thompson, are expected to take on crucial minutes in the Rockets roster. Additionally, the Houston Rockets lineup welcomes Reed Sheppard, the No. 3 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, who has shown immense potential.
Under the guidance of head coach Ime Udoka, two young stars of the Houston Rockets lineup, Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun are set to take their game to the next level after showing massive improvement last season. The Rockets lineup features Jabari Smith at power forward who is a rising talent known for his three-and-D capabilities, while young star Alperen Sengun anchors the center position with a unique blend of skill, strength, and basketball IQ.
The Houston Rockets roster also includes experienced veterans like Steven Adams and Jeff Green, who provide valuable leadership off the bench. Jae'Sean Tate and Tari Eason are also crucial contributors, earning consistent minutes and adding depth to the rotation. As the Houston Rockets players grow and develop, this season holds promise for building on last year’s progress and solidifying their identity in the competitive Western Conference.
