2024-25 Cleveland Cavaliers Roster & Players | NBA
The Cleveland Cavaliers roster in the 2024-25 NBA season is spearheaded by superstar Donovan Mitchell as they look for a promising campaign in the Eastern Conference. Donovan Mitchell, known as "Spida," commands the shooting guard position in the Cavaliers roster 2024 with his extraordinary scoring prowess and crafty ball-handling. Assisting him in the backcourt of the Cavaliers lineup is Darius Garland who is known for his quickness, dribble-combos, scoring, and playmaking abilities. In the frontcourt, the Cavaliers boast a formidable “Twin Tower” duo in Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley, both of whom excel on both ends of the floor. Allen dominates the paint with his finishing post-up skills and shot-blocking while Mobley showcases versatility with his inside scoring and perimeter shooting. Max Strus, last season’s key acquisition in the Cavaliers roster, adds much-needed depth with his elite 3-and-D gameplay at small forward.
The Cavaliers players coming off the bench feature defensive stalwart Isaac Okoro and scoring threat Caris LeVert, both of whom provide valuable contributions in the backcourt as backup behind Mitchell and Garland. Also, rising young stars Sam Merrill and Craige Porter Jr offer 3-point shooting and defensive stability as backups. In the frontcourt department of the Cavs bench unit, Dean Wade and George Niang provide spacing and defensive versatility, while veteran Tristan Thompson brings leadership and experience. Ty Jerome, Jacob Gilyard, Emoni Bates, and JT Thor complete the Cleveland Cavaliers' roster for the 2024-25 season.
New Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson is making sure that the Cavaliers players develop their own court game as well as become mentally strong so that the Cleveland Cavaliers roster 2024 exceeds expectations and makes a strong championship push in the 2024-25 NBA season.
