2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves Roster & Players | NBA
After years of struggle, the Minnesota Timberwolves made a deep playoff run in the 2024 playoffs and now, finally enter the 2024-25 NBA season with the hopes of competing at the highest level as explosive shooting guard Anthony Edwards checks all the boxes of becoming a superstar. With a stacked Timberwolves roster boasting both seasoned veterans and rising stars, the Timberwolves aim to make a splash in the competitive Western Conference.
Leading the Minnesota Timberwolves rosteris Anthony Edwards, affectionately known as "Ant-Man," whose unbelievable athleticism and scoring prowess make him a force to be reckoned with. Edwards will have a great mentor in veteran floor general Mike Conley, whose experience and playmaking ability will provide stability and leadership to the Minnesota Timberwolves roster. Conley and Edwards are some of the Timberwolves players who can put up big numbers on any given night. On the wing, Jaden McDaniels brings a two-way threat to the rivals as his explosive athleticism and tenacious defense can impact the game on both ends of the floor. In the frontcourt, the Timberwolves lineup boasts a fearsome pairing in Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert. Randle is a stretch-four big man as his shooting prowess is complemented by Gobert's tremendous defensive prowess. Moreover, both of them form a dominant presence in the paint.
Then, off the bench, the Minnesota Timberwolves roster 2024 features a talented supporting cast, including guards Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and 2024 NBA draft #8 pick Rob Dillingham, both of whom provide scoring, ball-handling, and playmaking off the bench. Donte DiVincenzo brings his two-way versatile game as a backup to McDaniels while reigning sixth man of the year Naz Reid adds scoring punch and energy in the frontcourt for the Minnesota Timberwolves lineup.
Overall, the Minnesota Timberwolves players are motivated to make noise in the 2024-25 NBA season. With experienced head coach Chris Finch at the helm, the Minnesota Timberwolves roster is ready for some playoff success in 2025.
