The Charlotte Hornets are a young team featuring young talent. Despite the unfortunate ankle injury to their star player, LaMelo Ball, the Hornets have rallied behind the leadership of Miles Bridges, a versatile forward who has stepped up to lead the team.
The Charlotte Hornets roster is led by Miles Bridges. He is the Hornets' leading scorer and playmaker and is a versatile player. He can score around the rim and also he can knock down the threes from downtown. His persistent passing also creates opportunities for teammates with his excellence.
Complementing Bridges on the Hornets lineup is the highly touted rookie Brandon Miller, a sharp-shooting small forward who has impressed with his three-point shooting prowess.
In the frontcourt, the Hornets rely on the imposing presence of Jamaican center Nick Richards. Richards is a force to be reckoned with, he provides excellent protection at the rim. His presence on the court will be a key factor for the Hornets lineup.
The backcourt tandem of Tre Mann and Vasilije Micic rounds out the starting five for the Hornets' roster in 2023. The young sharpshooter will be a reliable scorer for the Hornets roster. Whereas, Micic's ability to know down three will create ample opportunity to lead the score.
Off the bench, the Hornets have added depth and versatility through mid-season trades. Grant Williams, acquired in a trade, has provided valuable minutes as a stretch big man, while Aleksej Pokusevski brings his scoring prowess both inside and outside the paint.
The X-factor for the Hornets bench will be Davis Bertans, a veteran sharpshooter who brings experience to the court. His three-point shooting will add a scoring punch. However, Bryce McGowens, a second-year combo guard, will contribute valuable minutes from the bench.
