2024-25 Washington Wizards Roster & Players | NBA
TheWashington Wizards roster 2024 is set to undergo a period of transition, with many young players and some seasoned veterans. Leading the Wizards lineup is point guard Malcolm Brogdon, who is a skilled passer and reliable shooter. Brogdon is set to take over the playmaking duties of this revamped Wizards lineup. Joining him in the backcourt is shooting guard Jordan Poole, an offensive dynamo who excels at shooting, dribbling, and creating opportunities for himself and his teammates. At small forward, veteran Kyle Kuzma continues his role as a consistent performer for the Wizards roster, contributing with his scoring, rebounding, and leadership.
The frontcourt of the Wizards roster gets a major boost with the addition of Alex Sarr, the #2 pick in the 2024 draft. Touted as a future franchise player, Sarr's potential as a versatile forward/center is immense. At the center, Jonas Valanciunas, a veteran from Lithuania, provides valuable mentorship to Alex Sarr.
The Washington Wizards roster is deep with several young bench players ready to contribute. The number 14 pick in the 2024 draft, point guard Bub Carrington will back up Brogdon, and will try to learn from the veteran guard. Bilal Coulibaly adds defensive versatility to the Wizards roster, while Corey Kispert, a sharpshooter, continues to provide three-point scoring as a spot-up shooter. Patrick Baldwin Jr. and Richaun Holmes round out the first unit off the bench for the Wizards lineup. Furthermore, the Washington Wizards roster also features youngsters Johnny Davis and Jared Butler in the backcourt, along with Justin Champagnie and Saddiq Bey at the forward positions. Tristan Vukcevic, Marvin Bagley III, and James Wiseman add depth to the power forward and center positions, while Anthony Gill and Kyshawn George round out the Wizards roster in the frontcourt.
With a mix of rising stars like Alex Sarr and Bub Carrington, and steady veterans like Brogdon and Valanciunas, the Washington Wizards roster is built to compete in the present while developing for the future.
