Right then! Hashmatullah Shahidi collects the trophy and the players pose for shutterbugs. Afghanistan might've capitulated easily but they deserve a lot of credit for how they played in the first two matches. Before this series, they hadn't beaten South Africa in any format but they rose to the occasion and steamrolled the visitors. Meanwhile, this is South Africa's first win in the white-ball format since that heartbreaking defeat to India in the T20 World Cup final.
They will be taking a lot of learnings from this series and look to improve their performance against Ireland. It's been a pleasure bringing this match to you and hope you enjoyed it. Until next time, this is the duo of Pragadeesh and Darpan signing off
Hashmatullah Shahidi (Afghanistan Captain) - Feeling very happy about the performance in this series. It's a good learning for us approaching the upcoming game. I would've been more happy to have won this game but our aim is to give the youngsters a chase and build out future. The run-out - We could've done better. We have a lot of youngsters and we are trying to give them the chance. (Message to the fans) You keep supporting us and we will deliver for you
Temba Bavuma (South Africa Captain) - As a team we were under pressure. I am happy that we were clinical today but in terms of series, we haven't been at our best. We haven't been clinical with the bat and I think the guys have taken a lot of experience from this series. Myself and Tony had to take care of the powerplay. The ball skidded on with the dew and we were quite positive about the approach
Rahmanullah Gurbaz [Player of the Match and Player of the Series]: I feel really proud to have performed in front of quality bowlers. I want to congratulate the entire nation for this big series win. My hundred (in the last match) was pretty special but feeling bad to have missed out today. Hoping to carry on playing with same confidence even in the Champions Trophy.
South Africa won by 7 wickets
South Africa avoided the clean sweep. They were below par with the bat in the first two games but led by Aiden Markram, they chased this meagre target with minimum fuss. The chase started with Temba Bavuma showcasing the range of his drives on the off-side but Ghazanfar had the last laugh as he got rid of the opposition skipper with a ripper
De Zorzi got two lifelines but he couldn't make the opportunities count as Nabi removed him. Then, Markram came to the crease with little confidence and he started slowly but once he got himself into a groove, he launched an attack. That partnership with Stubbs turned out to be a match-winning one.
Stubbs had to undergo a lot of difficulties at the crease and struggled badly at the start with lateral movements but he hung on and as the dew sat in, batting became relatively easier for the duo. Markram was the aggressor in the partnership and his fighting knock of 69 helped the Proteas to cross the finish line
33.1 Rahmanullah Gurbaz to Tristan Stubbs, FILTHY DELIVERY! AND THAT IS IT! Tells you why Gurbaz doesn't bowl more often. He bangs in a half-tracker, outside off. Stubbs stretches to try and reach it, but cannot. Umpire calls it a wide and the players shake hands.

32.5 Naveed Zadran to Tristan Stubbs, very full, at the off stump. Stubbs gets on the front foot and drives it towards mid-on. They scamper through for one. 1 run to win now.
