Tristan Stubbs, emerging all-rounder of the South African squad, debuted on the international scene in 2024. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-spin bowler. On June 9, 2022, he played his first T20I match for South Africa against India. June 2022 marked his debut for the South African cricket team in the 50-over format, and in January 2024 he made his debut for the Test team. Stubbs has represented the Delhi Capitals, Warriors, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Jaffna Kings, Manchester Originals and Mumbai Indians in the domestic circuit.

On January 16, 2020, Stubbs made his first-class debut for Eastern Province in the CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup for the 2019–20 season where he scored 47 off 93 . In February 2020, he competed for Eastern Province in the 2019–20 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge, making his List A debut. He played his first T20 match for Warriors in the 2020–21 CSA T20 Challenge in February 2021.

Ahead of the South African cricket season of 2021–2022, he was included in the Eastern Province team in April 2021. The youngster finished as the second-highest run scorer in the CSA T20 Challenge 2021-2022, smashing 293 runs in 7 innings with a strike rate of 183.12.
