Right, it's definitely not a great day for Bangladesh as they've lost just their third ODI series at home since 2015! The Afghans would be thrilled though, as they've pulled off their first ever series win against Bangladesh in ODI's. Hashmatullah Shahidi, Afghanistan Captain - Very Happy with the fact that we have won the series. It was a great performance by the team. I felt that the wicket wasn't easy but the openers did a great job in building a partnership. It wasn't easy for the batters coming later on in the innings and it reflected. Our bowlers improved their show in this series and they put in a lot of hardwork and the results are reflecting now. We've built this team well in the last three years and we hope that our results in the Asia cup and World Cup will be a lot better than what it was previously.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: In the last 3 or 4 innings, I was getting out early and the performance wasn't great and thanks to the coach and the skipper, they backed me to do well. I was positive, there wasn't much pressure on me. Few matches before, I was getting out early and this game, I took the time and adapted to the conditions and batted well. Credit goes to Ibrahim, he's in good form and best wishes for him in future.

Litton Das [Bangladesh captain]: When you win the toss, bowlers didn't pick up early wickets and weren't up to the mark on the field too. The way Gurbaz and Ibrahim batted, credit goes to them but once they got out, we came back into the game and pulled things back nicely. If you bat as an opener for 20-25 overs, would've been easy for us but we gave away too many wickets inside the powerplay, you can always chase it down when you have wickets in hand at the end. Will try and bounce back strong in the next game.

Right so, this has been incredible bowling effort from Afghanistan and they've bundled out Bangladesh for a miserable 189 runs here. The Tigers had to chase a mammoth 332 batting second and they got off to a horrible start as skipper, Litton Das threw his wicket away right at the very beginning! He was followed by Shanto and Naim and the Tigers lost their top order in the powerplay itself.

Shakib Al Hassan and Towhid Hridoy built up a little partnership from there and were trying to rebuild the innings but it fell apart as Rashid Khan came in for his spell and picked up Hridoy and Afif in no time. Shakib too followed suit as Mohammad Nabi, trapped in him front of the stumps. The only notable partnership in the innings happened from there on as Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan put up 87 for the 7th wicket but the asking rate was always going to be a problem for them as Miraz perished trying to up the ante.

Rahim and Mustafizur Rahman frustrated the Afghan bowlers for a while but Farooqi picked up the Bangaldeshi veteran as Afghanistan once again cleaned up Bangladesh before their allotted 50 overs in the series. The bowlers did a remarkable job for Afghanistan. Farooqi bowled a fiery spell up front and ripped opened the top order with pace and bounce. The spin trio of Rashid, Mujeeb and Nabi followed him up and cast a web on the middle order as they just couldn't get going. The trio picked up 6 wickets between themselves and gave away less than 100 runs in 25 overs.

Overall, it's a superb victory for the Afghans and they've ticked all the boxes. They managed to put up a massive total on the board and bowled phenomenally later on to clean up the Bangladesh batting line up and clinch the series win one match remaining. The Tigers, will have a lot of soul searching to do though, as they look to win the final ODI and end the series by salvaging some pride.

Afghanistan win the second ODI by 142 runs and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3 match series! It's their third highest win in ODI cricket in terms of margin.

43.2 Fazalhaq Farooqi to Mushfiqur Rahim, OUT! IT'S ALL OVER! Ebadot isn't coming out to bat and Bangladesh are bowled out here. Afghanistan thump Bangladesh and take the series 2-0 with a game to go. Short delivery into the batter, Rahim pulled it straight down the throat of deep square-leg and takes a sitter.

It was a short one and it hit Fizz on the helmet! The physio will be out in the middle to check him for the possibility of a concussion.

43.1 Fazalhaq Farooqi to Mustafizur Rahman, OH! Short delivery into the batter, Fizz looks to pull but misses, pings him straight on the helmet and they take the leg-bye.

The ones and two's are not going to hurt Afghanistan as the required rate keeps climbing up for Bangladesh. Afghanistan will be looking to finish things off quickly here.
