So, we are done with the ODI series in Mirpur. But it has been a disappointing one considering the effort with the bat from the hosts right through the three matches. Bangladesh Women failed to cross 100 runs on all three occasions, even in conditions that were not horrible for batting. Australia Women however, were on top of their game and how! Every department had things well covered in alien conditions and they showed once again, why they are champion material!

Alyssa Healy (Australia Women captain): We were here to collect the Championship points and we did that to the fullest, which excites us surely! These conditions are challenging in their own way, so, to adapt to these and make things happen is a good result alright. The T20 series is expected to be more competitive, so, we will have to be on top of our game going forward.

Ashleigh Gardner (Player of the Series): What works on these wickets is that we have to be disciplined and work hard on our lines. Bangladesh challenged us a lot. It naturally spins all across the subcontinent. Back home in Australia, we are more used to playing on surfaces that have turn and a lot of bounce as well. We have to make sure that we have good plans. Credit to all the Bangladesh bowlers - they bowled well all series. Looking forward to the T20 series now.

Kim Garth (Player of the Match): It was a good game for us. These conditions are extremely different from what we have back home but we have to get used to them. Everyone did well, and I am happy with the way they responded to the challenges sent their way. I am pleased with my own bowling.

Beth Mooney: The bowlers certainly set the game for us. They executed their plans well, and we were off to a good start. That helped us a lot, I feel. These are pretty tough conditions over here for batters but you have to be extremely disciplined and make good decisions all the time. We have certainly been challenged a lot. I don't think it is anything as a lean patch for Phoebe (Litchfield) - somedays, things work for you, and somedays, they don't. We are all behind her at all times as we know what her potential is.

Australia Women win by 8 wickets with 31 overs and 3 balls to spare! By doing so, they clean sweep the series 3-0.

This was not expected to go long, it didn't. It was not expected to be challenging for the batters, eventually, it wasn't. Yes, Bangladesh Women did pick up a couple of wickets, but the game was over well inside 19 overs at a canter! Australia Women have handed the hosts a thumping defeat in the end.

Alyssa Healy wasted very little time on this tricky wicket for batters and got herself going with quite a few boundaries. Phoebe Litchfield had a bit of a struggle and could not remain not out. But Ellyse Perry ensured that things were under total control till the end, with Beth Mooney.

Bangladesh decided not to bring pacer Marufa Akter on before the 19th over. Wonder why they thought so, as a heavy dose of spin got a bit too predictable for the batters, even if the surface assisted turn.

On the whole, it was a performance like the home team by the visitors, in all the three ODI matches here at Mirpur in Dhaka! Lots to learn from for the Bangladesh side if they have to go on and beat this champion team in the near future.

18.3 Marufa Akter to Ellyse Perry, FOUR! AUSTRALIA WHITEWASH BANGLADESH 3-0! Fuller on off and middle, comes back in. Marufa's release point is way too angling in and it allows Perry to pick the ball off her pads and flick it away in the gap between midwicket and mid on for the final runs of this series. This win gives Australia their third in a row in the ODI series, which they have now won 3-0!
