14:52 PM IST|| That's all we have in this live coverage between Baroda and Mumbai. This is Samanvaya Sharma signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arya, as we will take your leave now. But don't go anywhere as there is another Semi Final lined up at 4:30 PM IST between Delhi and Madhya Pradesh. So do join us back soon. Till then Goodbye!!!
Shreyas Iyer (Captain Mumbai): We are really happy with the way our top order is performing through this season. It gives us a lot of confidence. We had already decided well in advance that we would attack right from the first ball itself, as we have a deep batting lineup. We just need to improve our bowling performance in the powerplay. It was a very good total which team Baroda had posted, but with the batting lineup we have I have full faith in us that we can chase this down.
Ajinkya Rahane (Player of the Match): really happy with the way I am batting. The way I am striking the ball don't want to think too much about my personal score. I think the way the T20 format is moving forward, it's about capitalising on the first six overs. Once I get the start, my job is to stay there till 15th 16th over. We generally sit together in our practice sessions. We have one on one conversrations. SKY, Shivam Dube, Shreyas Iyer all are India players and we keep sharing our inputs with them.
Krunal Pandya: Yeah mean pretty happy with the way the boys went. We were put under tough situations but we overcame those. We are on the right track. We are pretty much in a good situation at 73/1 but we lost the momentum from there. Still we did well to reach 160. We are a work in progress team. Shashwat has done really well. Bhanu played really well, Shivalik also batted well. Obviously Hardik was there as well. He will cherish that moment to get the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav.
14:27 PM IST|| MATCH SUMMARY|| Mumbai won by 6 wickets.
It all began with team Mumbai winning the toss and deciding to have a bowl first. Shashwat Rawat and Abhimanyu Singh opened teh batting for Baroda, but unfortunately, the partnership between these two didn't last for too long as Abhimanyu Singh threw his wicket away quite early. Later on, Shashwat Rawat and Krunal Pandya played crucial knocks for their team. Then in the middle overs, Shivalik Sharma played a blistering cameo of unbeaten 36 runs, which helped team Baroda to surpass that 150-run mark. In their bowling department, Hardik Pandya bowled the most economical over and also took 1 wicket.
After this team, Mumbai came out for a chase and they made looked a one-sided affair, with the way Ajinktya Rahane had batted. Rahane continued his top form from the last match and failed all the bowling plans of Baroda. Their bowlers looked clueless at one stage. Shreyas Iyer too smashed 46 runs at a rapid pace. With these two exemplary batting performances from the Mumbai side, this chase lost its grace and became just a mere formality. In their bowling department, Suryansh Shedge took 2 wickets.
With all this, team Mumbai has comfortably moved into the finals of Syed Mushtaq Ali's trophy.
17.2 Shashwat Rawat to Suryansh Shedge, SIX! Shedge completes the formalities. In the slot around the middle stump channel, Suryansh holds his shape and nonchalantly whips it away from his presence, goes aerial and sends it well over the midwicket fence. Mumbai win by 6 wickets.

17.1 Shashwat Rawat to Suryakumar Yadav, WICKET! Surya has chipped that straight down the throat of the mid-on fielder. A gentle fuller-length delivery around middle and leg, Surya tries to chip it over the mid-on fielder's head, he doesn't quite get the elevation, a lazy chip straight down the throat of the mid-on fielder who doesn't make a mistake.
