Shaheen Afridi and Luke Wood hung around till the end to make sure that they knocked off the required runs and take the Desert Vipers home after a rather challenging start to the innings. Sherfane Rutherford's knock in the lower middle order helped their cause tremendously.

This is a rather strange result given that the Vipers were at the bottom of the table and the MI Emirates at its top. However, as we had said before, cricket is a funny game and these results take place more often than not. This victory should propel the Vipers to get more such similar results.
