Thank you for tuning into this ECSN Portugal game here on the Sportskeeda network. I hope you enjoyed our coverage. For the time being, however, this is me Vatsal Vora, on behalf of Darpan Tikiya signing off. Goodnight!
Fighters win by 37 runs.
Parwinder Singh - 42 (20) | Deepu Mansurpuria - 1/12 Amir Dar - 50 (17) | Amir Dar - 2/42
Well, the Lisbon Capitals would be disappointed in that run chase. It felt like they would chase down 139 when Amir Dar was going mental in the opening stages of the game. However, it all fell apart due to some tight bowling by the Fighters in the closing stages of the game.
Dar was the pick of the batters, scoring 50 and immediately running himself out. From that point, it was all about Fighter's exceptional bowling. Deepu Marsurpuria was the star with the bowl, conceding just 12 runs, picking up one wicket and even bowling a maiden over. Gurbhej and Parwinder Singh also picking a wicket each.
Lisbon Capitals desperately needed a second batter to contribute towards the target apart from Amir Dar. However, their second highest run getter was Rahul Hudda with just 16.
In the end, the bowlers have won Fighters the game here!

9.6 Lalit Kumar to Shahan Khan, stands tall and swings the bat hard. He looks to the skies but does not find the ball there. That is because he made no connection and it has settled nicely into the gloves of the keeper. Fighters CC win.
9.6 Lalit Kumar to Dikshit Patel, wide outside off and they run one bye too.
9.5 Lalit Kumar to Shahan Khan, dragged from a 5th stump line to long on. The reward is a single.
9.5 Lalit Kumar to Shahan Khan, wide outside off.
Lisbon Capitals do claim a bonus point.
9.4 Lalit Kumar to Dikshit Patel, slashes and misses again. They steal a bye and save the bonus point.
9.3 Lalit Kumar to Dikshit Patel, moves to the leg side and swats at it. No connection between the ball and bat.
