That's all that we have from this contest. There's another game coming up between these two sides in just under an hour's time - keep an eye on our tabs for our coverage of the same. This is Rajarshi Das, signing off on behalf of Pradeep Somasekhar. See you later!
A thoroughly clinical performance from the Capitals see them register a resounding victory in the first of two matches between these two sides today. More than the line and control from their bowlers, it was their fielding - their catching in particular that stood out - there were 6 prominent chances over the course of the 10 overs, and 5 of them were latched on to. The Capitals fielders backed their bowlers up immensely.
The game was pretty much up at the end of the powerplay. The Lisbon Super Giants had lost half their side by the end of the 3rd over - each of those batters tried their best to get started but picked the fielders out perfectly - Nilesh Suryawanshi playing all around one that was heading towards leg stump.
It was a matter of who'd claim that bonus point as we headed towards the back-end of the chase - the likes of Hardik, Dhingra, Giri and Palvish Patel kept their hopes alive, but the Super Giants fell short of it by two runs in the end.
