That's it from the game folks! It's the pair of Rudransh and Rajarshi signing off!
End of the match!
Gorkha XI beat Lisbon Capitals by 6 wickets (DLS method)
Gurbhej Singh 23 (10) | Share Ali 3/14 (2) Amir Dar 38 (16) | Samarth Patel 2/11 (2)
What a roller-coaster of a match this was. Gorkha XI looked down and out so many times but perhaps the game being reduced to just six overs due to rain worked in their favor at the end.
Requiring 74 to win, they lost Faruk Ahmed on just the second ball of the innings. Hardeep hit a couple of boundaries and got out soon after while Share Ali struggled to get going from the other end. Gurbhej Singh held the game for them then, smashing two fours and and as many sixes.
Even after he got out, Samad kept them going until the comical run-out in the last over. With 13 runs to win in three balls, Share finally came to his own and took his team through.

Sunil Patel to Share Ali, on a length on off, tapped softly towards the mid wicket region. That'll do for the Gorkha 11 - they get to the target with 6 wickets and two deliveries to spare!

Sunil Patel to Share Ali, SIXMORE! The scores are level! Full, right in the slot on off stump, Share clears his front leg, has another swipe, and clears the man and ropes at long on

Sunil Patel to Share Ali, SIX! That's why he wanted the strike! Floated on off stump, Share leans onto it and clubs this high and wide over long on!

Sunil Patel to Abdus Samad, OUT! RIDICULOUSCRICKETALLAROUND! Floated outside off stump, Samad looked to hoick it across the line, gets a thick edge towards third man. The fielder in the circle messed up, two fielders chased after the ball, one tripped, the other got to it and fired it in at the keeper. Samad was next to Share in search of a second run, had to turn back, and was run out by yards as the keeper parried it back to the bowler
Abdus Samad run out (Shahan Khan/Sunil Patel) 14 (5b, 0x4, 2x6)

16 runs needed off the final over - who are you backing? Good thing for GOR is that Samad is on strike. Samarth Patel, right-arm orthodox, will bowl this
