Harmanpreet Kaur (Mumbai Indians captain): Credit goes to the support staff and all the team-mates. I think everyone is so positive and they are all ready to do well for the team. I want to give credit to the support staff as they have been helping and trusting the players from Day 1. Yes definitely when we got this team, I was very happy. When you have a combination like that, you are always positive and that helps. When we played the last game on this pitch, found that it won't be easy initially to score runs. Leg-side was short when the medium-pacers were bowling, that's why I went there.

Nat Sciver-Brunt: (Making the final) No, we've already qualified. Amazing! Looking at the teams, everyone has their strengths. (Taking the new ball) I'm enjoying it. There wasn't much swing tonight. The dew is finally here. It's been good to open the bowling and put pressure on the batters from the start. (Batting getting tested) In-form batters is good in the competitoon but it's good to get other people out in the middle to get used to the conditions. Today was tricky but we did well in the end. (Talk in the dressing room) I guess we're just trying to be consistent. We're performing well and we just want to try and take each game as it comes. Not to be too complacement. We're doing well and playing with heart. (Moving out from CCI to DY Patil) It's a little bit of a different surface. The seamers seem to enjoy it. We'll see when we get there and take it from there.

Sneh Rana (Gujarat Giants captain): I'm proud of the girls. To restrict MI to under 160 was commendable but it wasn't enough. We restricted them early and it was a chasable score, but again. (Majority of dismissals being lbw) I think the batters need to focus on playing through the line. We just need two good partnerships in our batting and we would have got through. She (Harleen) was fantastic tonight. She took a great catch and was great in the field. Good job, Harleen! I already mentioned that we need partnerships to sail through. I'm sure we will work on it.

So, a very quiet end to the game with Mumbai Indians registering a massive 55-run victory. With this, Mumbai have five victories from five matches to top the points table by a massive margin and they also become the first team to qualify for the play-offs! The table-toppers set up the match with an impressive batting performance as they posted 162-8.

Defending 163, the start couldn't have been better for Mumbai as Nat-Sciver Brunt got Sophia Dunkley trapped in front off the very first delivery. Sabbineni Meghana and Harleen Deol looked to stitch a partnership but they couldn't match up to the asking rate during the Powerplay. The task only got tougher in the sixth over as Hayley Matthews removed Meghana and Sutherland in quick succession. A few overs later, Issy Wong dismissed Harleen Deol LBW with a superb slower ball. Ash Gardner was the next to go as Jintimani Kalita pulled off a cracking catch off Amelia Kerr's bowling in the tenth over.

From there on, the chase went nowhere while Dayalan Hemalatha holed out to long-off courtesy Kerr's bowling in the 12th over. The skipper Sneh Rana tried to fight hard with the bat but her 20-run knock was brought to an end by the prolific Nat Sciver-Brunt. Nat added another with Harmanpreet Kaur coming up a superb low catch to send back Kim Garth. In the end, Hayley Matthews also got herself a three-fer by dismissing Tanuja Kanwar while the duo of Sushma Verma and Mansi Joshi batted out the overs!
