Well, Oman did make the game interesting towards the end with some good hitting alright! However, it wasn't going to be enough as there was too much left to do in the end. Sri Lanka started brilliantly in the powerplay, picking four wickets and that is probably where they won the game, not allowing Oman to start well.
Two wickets for Nuwan Pradeep at the top, setting the tone. A couple for Chamika Karunaratne as well and Lahiru Kumara picking four wickets in what was a good show by the bowlers, surviving a bit of a late surge in the end as well.
Oman fought well with Mohammad Nadeem and Naseem Khushi doing everything they could in their capacity. Those final overs with the ball in the first innings cost them as they fell short by only 19 runs in the end.
Sri Lanka will be happy with this performance first up as they look to get in good shape for the T20 World Cup and building on momentum is what they need to keep doing. A clinical performance to win the game comfortably in the end.
Right then, that is all we have from this game. More action to follow tomorrow and we hope for your company. Until then, this is Rishab and Raghav signing out. Have a great evening!
That is it! Sri Lanka have won this game as Chamika closes it out. Good fight from Oman but it was a little too late with too much left to do in the end. Spirited effort nonetheless and a good game overall!

19.6 C.Karunaratne to Naseem Khushi, OUT! Slower length delivery outside off, Naseem reaches out for it and slashes it on the leg side trying to clear the long-on fence but hits it straight to the fielder there!
19.5 C.Karunaratne to Naseem Khushi, slower length delivery outside off, slashed hard toward the cow corner region between two fielders. The batters do not run as Khushi wants to face the final delivery!
19.5 C.Karunaratne to Naseem Khushi, wide outside off
19.4 C.Karunaratne to Kaleem, length ball on the stumps, angling in to the batter, slashed hard to mid off for a quick single
19.3 C.Karunaratne to Naseem Khushi, full toss outside off, Naseem steps out and tries to loft it over sweeper cover but miscues it to deep point for a single! That will be all over for Oman then!
Two good balls is what Karunaratne needs to deliver!
Is this game still on? Can Naseem pull off something magical? 4 in 4! the sixes!
