What a run chase this from the Volts. Only a few would've given them the chance when they were reeling at 109-6 but Lockrose thrived in the crunch situation and smashed the bowlers all around the park. Nothing to take away from Foxcroft's fighting knock in the middle as he stood firm at the other end and complimented Lockrose really well at the back end.

Rutherford took on the bowlers inside the powerplay and set the tone for the team to chase the score of 188 but the Stags' spinners dictated terms in the middle overs to regain control of the match. Wickets kept tumbling for the Volts as Lennox picked up four wickets to his name to put his team in the driver's seat. Once his spell got over, Lockrose targeted the pacers and dragged his team back into the contest. He smashed 25 runs in the penultimate over to make things easy for his team to chase the remaining runs in the final over
