Here comes the inevitable news. The match has been called off due to persistent rain. Both teams will share points from this no result. That means France remains the only team to win a match after the first round robin.
2:38pm local time (6:08pm IST) - UH OH!!! THE RAIN IS BACK.
Just as the umpires were ready to get back on the field and get the second innings underway, it started pouring down again. The covers are being brought back in to cover the 22 yard strip. Let us hope that it is a passing shower.
Romania have scored 122/2 in 7 overs. Hungary need 123 runs to win.
Romania have managed to put on more runs in this 7 over innings than they did against France off 10 overs. The key for them was Muhammad Moiz at the top of the innings. He got them off to a great start. And never was his intent under question. A perfect knock for the format and the situation.
However, there was an even better knock later in the innings which stole the limelight. It was skipper Saini's unbeaten 62. He looked composed, decisive and hit the ball clean.
Hungary bowlers could look back at this innings and they'll find that there was some poor, predictable bowling to be blamed. Though, that is for later. Right now, they need to try and chase this target down. The chase gets underway in a bit.
