Saurashtra have secured a berth in the knockouts of the Ranji Trophy having bagged seven points en route to an innings and 243-run win over Manipur. The defending champions bowled Manipur out for 144 with Dharmendrasinh Jadeja and Yuvrajsinh Dodiya combining forces yet again as they shared eight wickets between them. Saurashtra's tally now reads 29 points - with Services set to reach a maximum of 28 given the situation of their ongoing game against Maharashtra and only one of Vidarbha and Haryana being capable of overtaking the number of 29, Saurashtra's title defense will extend into the quarterfinals.
