This was a bit of a wayward game. Both teams conceded so many extras and it kept on going longer than most T10 games usually last. There was a lack of urgency and the sides simply looked short of quality than what we are used to seeing in ECS.

The target was always going to be difficult one for PLE but Robin made sure that it became an impossible one with his three strikes in the first over. Raheem and Moin put up a small partnership and thus a fight but once set, they failed to find boundaries or attack.

It looked like the goal had already shifted to getting the point. Although wickets continue to fell, contributions from the lower order made sure they didn't go empty handed.
