Ross Adair, Player of the Match- I've been fighting for a place in the side and I'm sure this performance will help me in a big way to cement my place in the side. I had to take my time early on today and could accelerate towards the end. Was a bit nervous there in the end but I knew that we had enough fire power to get over the line and that we certainly did.

Andy Balbirnie (Ireland captain): Really pleased with the performance today, and the bowling effort at the death was just the need of the hour! Ross Adair played incredibly and Harry Tector, as young as he is, keeps batting with a lot of class and a lot of maturity to keep the things within our grip. A fine team performance today, hope we repeat the dose tomorrow.

Craig Ervine (Zimbabwe captain): I think we would have liked 150-160, but Ireland came back really well at the back-end of our batting innings. We built a good platform, but then, losing quick wickets hurt us. It always pushes the opposition back if you take early wickets, but I must say that Ross Adair batted really well. We will have to see with Sean's (Sean Williams') fitness tomorrow morning and assess things accordingly. The crowd has always been a big positive for us here, no doubt!

Right so , Ireland eventually get over the finishing line with 6 wickets remaining and there was some real drama in the end! However this has been a remarkable turnaround from the Irishmen who seemed down and out only 2 days back. The bowlers set it up for them and during the chase it was a Ross Adair show! They started off slowly as both Balbirnie and Adair took their time but once Balbirnie was gone for a well compiled 33, Adair went berserk and tore into the Zimbabwean bowlers. He had good support from the other end from Harry Tector who played his part for a 26 run cameo. There was some hiccup in towards the later stages as Ireland lost both Adair and Tector. But in the end it was Ireland's finisher George Dockrell who ended things in style for them with a massive six.

The Zimbabwe bowlers tried hard but it wasn't really their day as they failed to get the wickets. Ryan Burl and Tendai Chatara were the only ones who made some impact but the rest of the bowlers cut a sorry figure. Sean Williams left the field with an injury and it hurt their prospects too. Brad Evans in particular had an off day as he was really expensive. The pitch was batter friendly and in the end it was the last 8 of their batting innings that led Zimbabwe down.

Overall we've had another Ireland- Zimbabwe classic at the Harare Sports club and the series is now levelled at 1-1. Ireland have bounced back really well and they've got momentum in their stride now as we move into the last game. It will be all to play for tomorrow as the two teams once again meet at this venue and it once again promises to be a cracker of a contest.

19.4 Brad Evans to George Dockrell, THAT WILL DO IT FOR IRELAND! SIX RUNS! Full and just outside off, Dockrell goes down on one knee, leans slightly forward and hits it magnificently over deep cover from the middle of the bat, to see the ball sail into the crowd! That is a stylish way to finish the match!

19.3 Brad Evans to Curtis Campher, full and in the block hole on leg-stump, drilled out somehow, but it actually is a leg-bye to square-leg for a really quick run, even after Madhevere does well to get to it and take the stumps down at the striker's end! One to win now for the visitors.
