Early Life
Ethan Page’s real name is Julian Micevski. He was born on September 20, 1989, in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. Page started training professionally under Rip Impact and Ernie Moore in 2006. He made his professional debut in November 2006, at the age of 17. He is also an expert in combat techniques, holding black belts in Karate and Taekwondo.
Professional Wrestling Career
Indies (2006 - 2021)
Ethan Page credits most of his early learning to traveling and working with wrestler Michael Elgin, rather than formal training. Micevski debuted in 2006 under the name Julian Logan and has competed in various tag team matches throughout his career. He has wrestled for promotions like AAW and Evolve, even challenging for the Evolve Championship in 2014.
In addition to his Evolve endeavors, Ethan Page also tasted tag team victory in 2015. Partnering with Josh Alexander under the name Monster Mafia, the duo participated in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's DDT4 tournament. They achieved quick success, defeating the World's Cutest Tag Team to claim the PWG World Tag Team Championship. However, their championship reign was fleeting. Monster Mafia was ousted from the DDT4 tournament later that same night and lost the titles to the Beaver Boys in the second round.
Ring of Honor (2014)
In 2014, Ethan Page (then known as Ethan Gabriel Owens) competed in several matches for Ring of Honor (ROH). He won some matches against Zizou Middoux but lost to established ROH wrestlers like Tommaso Ciampa, R.D. Evans, and the ROH World Tag Team Champions ReDRagon (along with his tag team partner Josh Alexander).
Impact Wrestling (2017 - 2021)
Ethan Page's debut for Impact Wrestling was initially under a gimmick as Chandler Park, a storyline cousin of another wrestler. This character didn't last long, and he was written off after a loss. He then returned months later under his now-familiar Ethan Page name and persona, establishing himself as a heel by interfering in a match and aligning with Mat Sydal. He won his debut match against Trevor Lee under this new persona but came up short in a tag team match at a major Impact Wrestling event. His partner eventually left the company, leaving Page to forge his path.
After reuniting with his old tag partner Josh Alexander under the name The North, Ethan Page achieved significant success in Impact Wrestling. The North captured the Impact World Tag Team Championship twice, holding the titles for an impressive year during their first reign. However, tensions rose between Page and Alexander, leading to a storyline break-up and Page's eventual departure from the company.
AEW and ROH (2021 - 2024)
Following his departure from Impact Wrestling, Ethan Page (still using his ring name) signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2021. He debuted unsuccessfully in a match at their Revolution event. Shortly after, Page formed a successful tag team partnership with Scorpio Sky, known as the Men of the Year. They feuded with established wrestlers like Darby Allin and Sting, with Page ultimately coming up short in a coffin match against Allin.
The Men of the Year then aligned with the American Top Team, and manager Dan Lambert entered a program with The Inner Circle. This rivalry included a failed championship challenge by Page for the AEW TNT Championship and a tag team loss at the Full Gear pay-per-view event, marking the end of their feud.
As part of AEW, Ethan Page continued his tag team success with Scorpio Sky. They joined forces with manager Stokely Hathaway and other wrestlers to form a group called The Firm, acting as muscle for MJF. Page's character showed a ruthless side during this period, even forcing Matt Hardy into the group. However, tensions arose within The Firm, and Page eventually turned against them, siding with Matt Hardy in a brutal feud that included championship match losses and surprise returns. This culminated in Page becoming a face after saving Hardy from an attack.
In a surprising turn, Ethan Page returned to ROH, now partnered with AEW. He initially rejected a manager but went on a winning streak. After a loss due to outside interference, Page got revenge on his opponent Tony Nese in a brutal "I Quit" match with the help of his old tag team partner Scorpio Sky. This marked the return of their successful team. However, Page's run with AEW and ROH ended in May 2024, as his profile disappeared from both companies' websites.
WWE NXT (2024 - Present)
Ethan Page's wrestling journey took a sharp turn in May 2024. He made a shocking debut in WWE's NXT brand, attacking the NXT Champion Trick Williams. This reveal came after weeks of speculation about who was targeting wrestlers. Page then signed a contract with NXT and set his sights on the NXT Championship at the upcoming NXT Battleground event where he lost.
Ethan Page was attacked by Mensah during a 25-man battle royal for a NXT Title match. Later that night, he defeated the champ Je'Von Evans, claiming he was never eliminated. NXT General Manager Ava then planned a fatal four-way match for the title at Heatwave, where Page bagged the NXT Title. He set a record for the fastest title win after debuting (40 days). He named his reign the "Era of Ego" and successfully defended his title against several opponents. Page held his title against Joe Hendry at NXT No Mercy, but lost it to Trick Williams at NXT's CW premiere. Page won a triple threat match to become the number-one competitor for the NXT Title. A Devil's Playground match against Williams is scheduled at Halloween Havoc.
