Early Life and Career
Geoff Neal was born on August 28, 1990, in Austin, Texas, United States. Although Neal played football at a young age, he did not like the training and later transitioned to mixed martial arts.
Even after his promotional debut in UFC, Neal worked as a server for several years at Texas Roadhouse in Dallas. This was due to not being able to get fights scheduled.
Geoff Neal's Career in UFC
The 32-year-old American fighter earned a UFC contract on July 25, 2017, against Chase Waldon in Contender Series and won the fight by TKO in the first round.
'Handz of Steel' made his full promotional debut at UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Medeiros on February 18, 2018, against Brian Camozzi. He won the bout by submitting Camozzi via a rare naked choke.
For his third fight in the promotion, Neal faced Frank Camacho at UFC 228 and won the fight with a head kick knockout on September 8, 2018.
