Holger Vitus Nodskov Rune is a Danish tennis star ranked No. 10 as of May 2025. He achieved a career-high ranking of No. 4 and has won five ATP singles titles, including the 2022 Paris Masters, where he defeated Novak Djokovic in the final. In 2025, Rune lifted his maiden ATP 500 title at the Barcelona Open by defeating Carlos Alcaraz (7-6, 6-2). He also reached the final of the Indian Wells Masters by winning over Daniil Medvedev, Tallon Griekspoor, and Stefanos Tsitsipas. However, he lost to Jack Draper in the championship match by 6-2, 6-2.

Rune was born in Gentofte, Denmark, on April 29, 2003. Anders Nodskov and Aneke Rune are his parents. He started his tennis career at six after watching his sister play the sport. When he was young, he used to play various sports, including soccer/football, but later decided to pursue tennis.
