History
On the April 26, 2022, NXT show, D'Angelo introduced his mates, Channing Lorenzo and Troy Donovan, forming a group known as The D'Angelo Family. Donovan later bested Legado del Fantasma, and by the rules, the Legado del Fantasma crew became part of the D'Angelo Family. Moving to the August 2 episode of NXT 2.0, D'Angelo and Lorenzo faced The Creed Brothers for the NXT Tag Team Championship but were defeated due to Escobar's interference. However, on the August 16 special episode, NXT Heatwave, D'Angelo emerged victorious against Escobar in a Street Fight. As per the deal, Legado del Fantasma remained associated with the D'Angelo Family, while Escobar had to exit NXT in the storyline
During NXT Stand & Deliver, D'Angelo and Stacks couldn't grab the NXT Tag Team Championship in a triple threat match. Their spat with Pretty Deadly led to a loss on the April 4 NXT episode, but they turned the tables three weeks later at NXT Spring Breakin' in a trunk match. A breakthrough came at NXT: The Great American Bash, where D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo beat Gallus, securing D'Angelo's first wrestling title. Unfortunately, at NXT: Halloween Havoc, they lost the titles to Chase University (Andre Chase and Duke Hudson) after an 86-day reign. However, redemption came swiftly with a rematch victory on the November 14, 2023, NXT edition, making them two-time NXT Tag Team Champions
During the NXT episode on February 13, D'Angelo and Stacks faced a setback as they surrendered the titles to Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin, concluding their second championship run after an impressive 91-day tenure.
