NXT Halloween Havoc is a professional wrestling event produced by WWE for its third brand NXT. The first NXT Halloween Havoc was held in 2020. The event has taken place both as a special episode of NXT programming and also as a WWE Network exclusive in the 2022 and 2024 editions. The 2024 edition of NXT Halloween Havoc took place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, live from the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

NXT North American Championship - Tony D'Angelo (c) vs. Oba Femi

Tony D'Angelo defeated Oba Femi to win the NXT North American Championship on the October 8 episode of NXT. Femi challenged D'Angelo to a rematch at Halloween Havoc, which was confirmed to be a Tables, Ladders, and Scares match, decided by Spin The Wheel: Make The Deal. However, the match stipulation was later changed to a pinfall-only match. D'Angelo retained the title at the event.

Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade vs. Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer

Roxanne Perez defeated Giulia to retain the NXT Women's Championship on NXT's debut on CW. Cora Jade returned and attacked Giulia, costing her that match. Jade explained her actions and a brawl ensued between Jade, Perez, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer and Giulia challenged Jade and Perez to a tag team match at Halloween Havoc, which was accepted. Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer walked out victorious in the match.

Ambulance Match - Ridge Holland vs. Andre Chase

Ridge Holland joined Chase University in June 2024, and even won the NXT Tag Team Championship. However, upon losing the belt, he betrayed them and attacked the leader Andre Chase. Hudson vowed to take down Holland but Ridge Holland defeated Hudson, and Chase returned to save Osborne from Holland. Chase challenged Holland to an Ambulance match at Halloween Havoc, which was then officiated. Holland defeated Chase at the event.

NXT Women's North American Championship - Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Fallon Henley

Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, or Jazmyn Nyx) has been feuding with Kelani Jordan for quite some time now. It was announced that Jordan would defend her NXT Women's North American Championship against one member of Fatal Influence at Halloween Havoc, but the identity of the challenger would remain a secret until the event. Jordan prevented Nyx from interfering in a match, and Fatal Influence spun the wheel and chose the Spinner's Choice stipulation for the match at Halloween Havoc. Henley was chosen the rival to Jordan and she went on to defeat her to become the new champion.

NXT Championship - Trick Williams (c) vs. Ethan Page

Ethan Page has been involved in a heated rivalry for the NXT Championship. He initially defeated Trick Williams in a fatal four-way match, but Williams later reclaimed the title on the October 1 episode of NXT. Wes Lee then challenged Williams for the championship, and Ava, the NXT General Manager, added Je'Von Evans to a triple threat match to determine the challenger for Halloween Havoc. Ethan Page won that match and will now face Trick Williams in a Devil's Playground match at Halloween Havoc, which was decided by Spin The Wheel. Williams retained the title at the event.

NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 will take place live from the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It is a multi-purpose arena, which can hold about 10,500 fans for a wrestling show. Previously, the event has been the home to WWE Unforgiven (2003) and numerous RAW and SmackDown episodes as well. This is the first time Halloween Havoc will take place outside its usual home, the WWE Performance Center.

History of NXT Halloween Havoc

Halloween Havoc was the name of a PPV event organized by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) every year from 1989 to 2000. The company was sold to WWE in 2001 and its events were folded. WWE revived a number of WCW-based themes and PPVs for its NXT brand including Halloween Havoc, which it brought back as a television special for NXT in 2020.

Both the 2020 and 2021 editions of the event were held as special episodes of NXT before there was a slight change in 2022. The 2022 event was held as a WWE Network exclusive event and was held in the name of TakeOver: Halloween Havoc. For the 2023 event, WWE moved back to the Television special, but this time it was expanded to be a two-night event. WWE moved back to one night for 2024 and the event was changed from a television special to a premium live event.
