It is not an opinion but a fact that Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant superstars to ever step foot inside the squared circle. It’s an extremely tough job to land a few punches on The Beast, let alone beat him.
Fans have not been very familiar with Lesnar taking a beating from his opponent. However, believe it or not, there have been quite a few wrestlers who stood tall in the ring that also had Brock Lesnar.
To date, only 11 wrestlers have managed to beat Brock Lesnar in WWE. Wonder who these eleven wrestlers are? Scroll to find out.
Which wrestlers have defeated Brock Lesnar?
Cody Rhodes
The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is the latest guy to beat Brock Lesnar via pinfall or submission in WWE. At Backlash 2023, in the land of Puerto Rico, Lesnar, and Cody Rhodes tore the house down with an intense match.
The Beast was pure blood as his face hit the exposed turnbuckle. During the final moments, Rhodes converted the Kimura clutch into a cover for the pin to score a huge victory.
Bobby Lashley
The match-up between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley had been a dream for the fans for years. It eventually got real at Royal Rumble 2022 when the-WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defended his gold against the challenger Bobby Lashley.
Unfortunately for Lesnar, this match came right amidst his feud with Roman Reigns. Paul Heyman ditched Lesnar to side with Reigns and the latter’s intervention helped The All-Mighty pick the biggest victory of his career.
Roman Reigns
Like Steve Austin and The Rock in the Attitude Era, John Cena and Randy Orton in the PG Era, it is probably Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in the modern era. The Reigns-Lesnar matchup is the only fight to headline WrestleMania on three different occasions.
Despite being such a long feud, the Lesnar-Reigns rivalry was never boring because of how well-balanced it was. Reigns is the only guy to defeat Lesnar more than twice, the first of which came at Crown Jewel 2021 where Reigns beat The Beast to defend his Universal Championship.
A few months later, the two collided at WrestleMania 38 where The Tribal Chief won to unify the WWE and Universal Championship. Next, at the Biggest Party of the Summer, Reigns was the Last Man Standing when The Next Big Thing could not respond to the ten counts.
Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre kicked Lesnar out of the ring at Royal Rumble 2020 and a feud between the two of them was inevitable thereon. As the winner of the Rumble, McIntyre challenged the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.
At the event, not only did McIntyre beat Lesnar, he did it fair and square. After winning the title, The Scottish Psychopath went on to be the face of the company in the pandemic era.
Seth Rollins
The guy who fled the ring at the sight of Lesnar in 2015 eventually became the man to slay the Beast in 2019. After winning the 2019 Royal Rumble, Rollins challenged the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. At the event, Rollins beat the champion with the help of a low blow.
While his first victory against Lesnar wasn’t all fair, he managed to slay the Beast once more. At SummerSlam that year, Rollins beat Lesnar again, and this time without any dirty antics.
The Undertaker
It’s hard to mention The Undertaker and not bring up his WrestleMania streak. Further, it’s even harder to talk of the WrestleMania streak and not bring in the name of Brock Lesnar, the man who became the one in 21-1. Lesnar and The Undertaker was a feud big enough to sell out stadiums.
The Phenom beating Lesnar does not sound very surprising as he is one of the most terrifying superstars to step foot inside a wrestling ring. At SummerSlam 2015, The Undertaker managed to beat Lesnar by technical submission when the latter failed to respond after Taker’s deathlock.
Triple H
One of the biggest wrestlers ever, Triple H faced off against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 29, Lesnar’s first WrestleMania since returning to WWE. As hard as it may sound, The Beast actually ended up being on the losing side despite being heavily favoured to win.
Nonetheless, this added Triple H’s name to the list of stars who have successfully beaten Brock Lesnar.
John Cena
Brock Lesnar made his highly-anticipated return to WWE in 2012 and chose John Cena as his first victim. The two faced off in an intense match at Extreme Rules. The match was equally fought by the two until it was Cena who scored the victory.
It was shocking to see Lesnar lose his first match after his return. However, Lesnar made sure to repay the favour to Cena two years later, when he beat him at SummerSlam 2014 in one of the most infamous matches ever.
Goldberg
The two men who belong to another world, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg have fought against each other quite a few times. The two first collided at WrestleMania 2004. Stone Cold Steve Austin took the role of the referee and counted to three when Goldberg covered Lesnar for a pin. That, however, couldn’t save Goldberg from eating a stunner from Austin.
Twelve years later, the two fought in a rematch at Survivor Series 2016. This was Goldberg’s first WWE match since the 2004 match against Lesnar. This match is perhaps one of the most shocking matches in WWE history as Goldberg not only defeated Lesnar but did it within two minutes.
Eddie Guerrero
At No Way Out 2004, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defended his gold against Eddie Guerrero. The former’s feud against Goldberg had already started shaping up, and this turned out to be a turning factor in this match.
In a closely contested fight, Goldberg showed up and speared Lesnar followed by The Latino Heat performing the frog splash on Lesnar and scoring a huge pinfall victory.
Kurt Angle
Just two weeks before their match at WrestleMania 19, Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar faced each other at the March 13 episode of SmackDown. Angle switched sides with his brother Eric Angle and performed a roll-up pin on an exhausted Lesnar for the victory.
During SummerSlam that year, Angle needed no tricks to beat Lesnar. Not only did he defeat The Alpha Male of our species, but he did so by forcing Lesnar to tap out.
The Big Show
The Big Show was the first guy to score a victory against Brock Lesnar in WWE. The Beast Incarnate made his debut on the RAW after WrestleMania in 2002 and it wasn’t until Survivor Series that Brock Lesnar lost a match.
Before Lesnar lost his first match, he had already made a name for himself in WWE including winning the world championship after he defeated The Rock. Big Show became the person to stop his dominance as he defeated Lesnar at Survivor Series. The win wasn’t clean though as Paul Heyman switched sides amidst the match causing distraction for Lesnar.
