Elimination Chamber is a staple match in WWE programming which takes place at the namesake Elimination Chamber PPV in February every year. It is one of the most physically demanding matches on the WWE Calendar. At least six wrestlers enter the hellish structure and give their all to remain the last man standing.
Six wrestlers enter the match. Two begin the match while the remaining four are locked up in their pods. Every five minutes, a wrestler’s pod is opened and he enters the fray. The entry number of entrants is not announced before the match. To win an Elimination Chamber match, a wrestler has to remain the last man standing ensuring other wrestlers are eliminated. To be eliminated, one must have been either pinned or has to tap out. It does not matter whether one has made the most eliminations in a single match, as long as they have eliminated the runner-up to ensure victory.

The Rules of Elimination Chamber Match
The Elimination Chamber match is a brutal and strategic elimination-based contest in professional wrestling. It takes inspiration from a steel cage and Hell in a Cell match, surrounding the ring with a large steel structure. Originally designed as a circular chain-linked enclosure, the current iteration features a square-shaped cage for a more imposing presence.
The unique element lies in the four plexiglass pods outside each corner of the ring. These pods house additional participants who enter the match at predetermined intervals, typically every five minutes. The objective is simple: eliminate all other competitors via pinfall or submission. Unlike traditional matches, disqualifications and count-outs hold no bearing here. The Elimination Chamber match mostly involves individuals but there have been tag team Elimination Chamber matches as well. The rules stay the same in those matches as well.
