As of January 2025, Shikhar Dhawan holds the record for registering the best batting strike rate in the ICC Champions Trophy. The former Indian opener recorded a batting strike rate of 101.59 in 10 ODIs. Followed by him is Indian batter Virat Kohli who registered a batting strike rate of 92.32 in 13 games.

The third on the list is former West Indian opener Chris Gayle with a batting strike rate of 88.77.Former Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya is fourth with a batting strike rate of 88.01 in 20 games. Former South African skipper Graeme Smith is in the fifth position with a batting strike rate of 86.71 in 12 ODIs. In the sixth position, Herschelle Gibbs recorded a batting strike rate of 85.50 in 10 games.

Followed by him is former Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene with a batting strike rate of 84.80 in 22 games. Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly is eighth with a batting strike rate of 83.12 in 13 ODIs. In the ninth position, former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson registered a batting strike rate of 82.81 in 17 matches. Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, is tenth on the list with a batting strike rate of 82.50 in 10 games.
