ICC Womens T20 World Cup 2024 Most Wickets

We all love the T20 format of cricket, don’t we? The power-hitting, raining boundaries, run galore, and super over fun! The shortest format of the game has been dominated by the batsmen, but bowling is what backs up a good batting performance. This T20 World Cup, the eyes are very much on which bowler will manage most wickets in the mega-event.

In a crunch finish, it's the bowlers who win the games and a strong bowling attack is a prerequisite to every team out there. Talking of this, there’s nothing like giving your best and chipping in with the wickets at the T20 World Cup 2023.

New Zealand v India - 5th ODI

The 8th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is just a week away, so here we have the top 10 wicket-takers of all time in the championship.

Anya Shrubsole from England is at the top of the ladder with a stunning 41 wickets in just 27 matches, also to note that she holds the lowest economy in the chart! Right behind her is one of the best all-rounders in cricket, Ellise Perry, who has 37 scalps to her name in 36 games. South African pacer Shabnim Ismail is at the third spot with 35 wickets in 26 T20Is in the World Cup.

In the previous edition of the World Cup in 2020 in Australia, Megan Schutt ended up as the leading wicket-taker with 13 scalps. As you can see, she is there at the 5th position and deservingly so. Poonam Yadav from India was amongst the wickets as well as she was just behind Schutt with 10 wickets in her pocket.

The upcoming edition will see these stars in action and it’ll be interesting to see who comes on top of the wickets tally. Will we see any change in this table right here?
