Spieth is a former world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking and a three-time major champion, having secured his first major title at the 2015 Masters Tournament. He also captured the 2015 U.S. Open, becoming the youngest U.S. Open champion since 1923 (Bobby Jones). Spieth added a third major to his cabinet by finishing on top of the pile in the 2017 Open Championship.

Spieth became the second-youngest golf player to win the Masters (behind Tiger Woods) and was named PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2013. In 2015, Spieth secured the FedEx Cup and was named the PGA Tour Player of the Year. He was also honored with the Vardon Trophy and Byron Nelson Award in 2015 and 2017 and the Laureus World Sports Award for Breakthrough of the Year in 2016.

Who are Jordan Spieth's parents?

Jordan Spieth was born on July 27, 1993, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Shawn Spieth and Mary Christine Spieth. Shawn and Mary married at Lehigh University in 1986, as per PGA.com. Jordan grew up with two siblings, Steven and Ellie Spieth. Ellie, who was born prematurely, has a neurological condition that stays undiscovered and has left her developmentally challenged, based on Jacksonville.com.

For seven years, she worked at Jesuit College Prep School, where both Jordan and Steven attended.

In a 2016 meeting with Jacksonville.com, Mary shared, "I would go to hospital all day and pick them up from school and get them to practices and then my husband would take it from there. I don't know if they knew the seriousness of all of it".

Who is Jordan Spieth's father?

Shawn Spieth, like his wife, was an athlete and student at Saucon Valley High School, as per PGA.com. He also appeared in an interview with Jacksonville.com in 2016.
