That's all we've got for this match as my partner, Pradeep and I, Sudheer are signing off at the moment but do stay tuned to Sportskeeda for more updates and match information coming your way from across the globe. Cheers and have fun!
Pakistan started off poorly just like Bangladesh losing too many wickets inside the powerplay. In fact, they lost 4 wickets for 24 runs. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, in particular, were cleaned up by the Bangladesh bowlers. Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik also got dimissed for nought in quick succession. Fakhar Zaman, who saw all these from the other end, needed one to accompany him help Pakistan come out of the situation. Khushdil Shah joined for the 5th wicket partnership as they put on 56 runs between them. Again both of them got out just when things were starting to get back in their control. Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz struck few timely boundaries in the final stages of the game and that helped them cross the line in the end.
Bangladesh bowlers started off well inside the powerplay. Especially Mahedi Hasan, who bowled well inside the powerplay and gave the early breakthrough for his team. They failed to break the 5th wicket partnership and that proved to help Pakistan inch closer to the total only to finish things off in the final few overs. Mustafizur started off well with the ball but few poor deliveries in the final overs costed them dearly as he leaked 15 runs off his 4th over. Similarly with Shoriful Islam who couldn't hold on to his nerve and make an impact on the match. Had their pacers had good day, they would have turned it around in those closing overs. Bangladesh need to get things right going into the next match as they have to win to keep the series alive.
Hasan Ali has been adjudged the Man of the Match for brilliant spell of bowling [4-0-22-3]!
Hasan Ali at the presentation, It's a pleasant moment for me, winning the player of the match. My performance wasn't up to the mark in the World Cup, this is what happens for a professional player, the ups and downs are always there, I'm happy I got my rhythm back. I have been here in the Bangladesh Premier League, normally it's a slow pitch, bowl into the wicket, stump to stump with variations and the result will come, bowled stump to stump today and got the success.
This is why we love T20 games. It gives everyone an enthralling time while the game goes with its ebs and flows. Those shifts in momentum can keep everyone hooked to the screens and makes it exciting for the fans. Pakistan manage to win the match comfortably in the end as their lower middle order managed to make it happen when it was required. The same batters weren't tested in the T20 World Cup games and it looked like they might find it difficult when given an opportunity. That wasn't the case as they proved that they have enough firepower in their line up to help them cross the line when it is required off them.
What a game we've had to witness here. It looked like Bangladesh will run away with a win after putting Pakistan under pressure with those early wickets. Pakistan held their nerve in the final stages of the game to pull this off and make it 1-0 in this 3 match series. Pakistan won the match by 4 wickets and 6 balls to spare.

19.2 Aminul Islam to Shadab Khan, SIX! GAME, SET AND MATCH! Shadab finishes the game in style, Bangladesh doesn't finish well and go 1-0 down in the series. Length delivery on the off-stump, Shadab goes down his knee and SMOKES it into the stands, sails way over the long-on fence for a huge maximum!
19.1 Aminul Islam to Shadab Khan, drops it short on the outside off, Shadab on the backfoot slaps it but straight to short extra-cover for no run.
Aminul Islam to bowl the final over.
Under pressure, Mohammad Nawaz hits two sixes off the back foot and almost sealed the game for his team. Now they need just 2 runs to win the game.
