Marizanne Kapp, Player of the match- " I was a bit nervous bowling on this kind of a flat surface. I was trying to stay positive with the bat and tried to score in the areas that I was comfortable in. Jess was great at the other end. Things changed a bit with the progress of the innings. When I came back into the attack I was trying to keep it very full and tried to use my variations which paid off today. "

Meg Lanning, Delhi Capitals Captain- It looked like a reasonable wicket and the outfield was quick too. There was plenty of runs on offer and it was always about keeping them under check. We kept the momentum going with the bat and the left hand right hand combination worked really well for us. The message to the players is to play to their strengths and play with freedom. It's about keeping our calm and we knew that a couple of wickets could change the game. Kappy was great in the middle and we hung in there. If you stick enough for too long, it pays through. Jonassen has some great experience and she was excellent under pressure. She was superb with both the bat and ball.

Jess Jonassen, Delhi Capitals: I was just happy to be back on the cricket field. We needed to get a good total on the board, with the quality of batters RCB have. Trying to build partnerships with Kappie there and see how many we get till the end. We were pretty confident with 194, we knew we had to bowl well as well. The way Smriti came out, put us on the back foot early on. We remained calm and kept composure throughout, hoping the result would go our way. We've got a great variety of players that can step up and perform against any opposition on a given night. Really pleasing that we could come away with a win tonight, onto the next game!

Smriti Mandhana, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain has the Orange Cap back! Here's what she has to say: The way we bowled the first two matches, we didn't live up to it. A bad game, but we have to take away something from it and come back strongly. When we were back at the dugout, we had a chat about how they were 10-15 runs up, my chat with Sophie was that if we end up playing till the 14th or 15th we can get there. The way women's cricket is progressing, had to put in a bit of work for the leg side shots. The boundaries on the leg side were pretty short, so my eyes were there. In terms of bowling, won't be too critical. We didn't really bowl or field up to our standards. Because of the crowd, we don't get the attention. We'll have a chat about it - I'll take that on me, will have to be really quick on the field.

An unbelievable finish at the back end of the innings from the Delhi Capitals Women and they've clinched this game with relative ease despite being behind for most of the time. It has been a tough one for them but the bowlers held their nerve and kept creating the pressure which paid off in the end. RCB needed 51 runs from the final four overs of the innings and they could muster only 25 runs as there was a dramatic collapse in which they lost 7 wickets in the last five overs, starting with the one of Richa Ghosh.

The RCB got off to a flying start as they managed to dominate in the powerplay. Smriti Mandhana showed her class early on as she dominated the strike and took on the likes of Marizanne Kapp and Shikha Pandey. She struck the fours and sixes at will in every over and picked up two massive maximums in just the first six overs. It gave RCB the platform to launch from and consolidate as they looked to chase down this total. The breakthrough came eventually in the 9th over for the Capitals as Arundhati Reddy got Devine against the run of play with a low full toss.

The Capitals stormed back in the middle overs as they managed to get rid of Mandhana and then a brief cameo of Richa Ghosh was brought to an end by Kapp! The pressure of the required run rate got too big on the Royal Challengers and Meghna failed to play the big hits which helped the Capitals. The turning point in the game was the 19th over where Meghna had been run out and it triggered a collapse as the likes of Georgia Wareham, Nadine de Klerk, and Sophie Molineux couldn't do much.

Arundhati Reddy picked up one wicket while Jonassen picked up three in the final over to become the pick of the bowlers. A word of appreciation is also due for Marizanne Kapp. She came back to bowl the tough overs and got rid of Richa Ghosh who could have taken the game away from the Delhi Capitals.
