Kareem Hunt, the seven-year veteran NFL player has had an interesting trajectory as a running back throughout his career in the league. Kareem Hunt’s Early Life
28-year-old Kareem Hunt was born on August 6, 1995, in Lorain, Ohio. As a student at South High School in nearby Willoughby, Hunt totaled over 2,500 yards in both years. A three-star recruit, he made his way over to the University of Toledo.
During his four years with Toledo, Kareem became the most statistically dominant RB in the school’s history. Over that timeframe, he compiled close to 5,000 yards, breaking Chester Taylor’s school record with 4,945 rushing yards. His total yards and yards per rush, 5,500 and 6.3 respectively, are also school records. He was a two-time first-team All-MAC and made it to the second team in 2015, despite missing four of the 13 games.

Kareem Hunt’s Father
Kareem Hunt Sr., also an Ohio native, hails from Cleveland. Born June 10, 1966, his hometown of Cleveland could have perhaps been a part of the reason for Hunt staying along with the Browns. According to his Facebook, Hunt Sr. is single and is a constant presence at most Cleveland games for his son.
However, Kareem has a less-than-savory past, with some run-ins with the law. These stem mostly from multiple drug-related offenses. But, there are even counts of domestic violence that landed the elder Kareem in trouble.
