American professional wrestler and former football player Bronson Rechsteiner was born on October 24, 1997. He is presently employed by WWE NXT, where he competes as Bron Breakker. Being the nephew of Scott Steiner and the son of Rick Steiner, Rechsteiner is a professional wrestler of the second generation (the two of them together were known as the Steiner Brothers). He was chosen as the 2022 "Rookie of the Year" by Wrestling Observer Newsletter readers. He is a two-time former NXT champion.
Breakker won the NXT Championship back from Grayson Waller on January 10, 2023, at New Year's Evil by countout. And then on February 4, at Vengeance Day, Waller was defeated once more, this time in a cage match. Breakker's second reign came to an end at 362 days on April 1 when he lost the championship to Carmelo Hayes at Stand & Deliver.
For the first time in his career, Breakker turned heel by attacking Hayes in the NXT episode airing on April 4. The following week, he further solidified his new villainous persona by verbally abusing the crowd, attacking Andre Chase, and interrupting Chase University in the ring.
On September 30, Breakker was defeated by Baron Corbin at NXT No Mercy. Following the match, Breakker attacked Carmelo Hayes, who had John Cena in his corner. This prompted The Undertaker to enter the ring and choke-slam Breakker. This incident occurred on the October 10 episode of NXT. In order to be eligible for the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, which Trick Williams ultimately won, Breakker defeated Eddy Thorpe on the November 28 episode of NXT.
