Adrian Meronk’s Parents

Adrian Meronk, a Polish professional golfer, had won nine amateur titles before turning professional in 2016. He began playing on the Challenge Tour, winning his first pro win at the 2019 Open de Portugal. Moving on, he joined the European Tour and won the 2022 ISPS Handa Australian Open and three more. He was named the 2023 European Tour Player of the Year.

In 2024, Meronk joined the LIV Golf League, playing for Cleeks GC. He won his first LIV Golf event in Riyadh in February 2025, beating Jon Rahm and Sebastián Muñoz. His career-high ranking was No. 39 in January 2024, but he dropped to No. 165 by February 2025 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). As an amateur, he won nine tournaments, starting with the 2010 Polish Junior Championship, and represented Poland at the Eisenhower Trophy in 2012, 2014, and 2016.

Adrian Meronk's parents are Andrzej and Joanna Meronk.

Born in Hamburg, Germany, Meronk's family moved back to Poland when he was two years old. According to the USGA, Meronk's father Andrzej made sure his family could play golf because there weren't many golf courses in Poland. They resided in Pniewy, Poland, for a decade. Meronk said, “I started playing when I was about 7 and I grew up on the golf course because my father was always taking me with him.” He went to high school in Wrocław before coming to study in the United States when he was 16 years old; they purchased a house at Toya Golf and Country Club, as per the USGA. He enrolled at East Tennessee State University and played college golf from 2012 to 2016.
